As a System Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering and supporting automation systems for our clients in Chile. You’ll work closely with global engineering teams and local customer operations to ensure each deployment runs smoothly — from system setup and configuration to testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. • Assist with the installation, configuration, and testing of AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) and automation systems.
• Implement software and network configurations on Linux-based servers and manage databases using SQL commands.
• Conduct API and interface testing between PB RoboTech systems (WES/WCS/PLC) and customer WMS/ERP systems.
• Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases with customers.
• Provide remote and on-site hypercare support after go-live, including hardware/software troubleshooting, log analysis, and firmware upgrades.
• Create and deliver training materials, SOPs, and system documentation for customers and internal use..
• Track and resolve system incidents following established SLA and escalation procedures.
• Communicate effectively with international project teams, clients, and vendors in English and Spanish.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and proposing system or process enhancements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with PB RoboTech’s software, control, and maintenance teams to ensure system reliability.

• 1–3 years of experience in automation systems, IT systems integration, or industrial engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Linux environments and SQL databases.
• Basic understanding of network communication protocols (TCP/IP, REST APIs, Modbus).
• Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on troubleshooting ability.
• Excellent communication in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
• Based in Santiago, Chile, and comfortable working onsite when not traveling.

• Experience with warehouse automation, robotics, or intralogistics systems.
• Familiarity with WMS/WCS/WES software integration.
• Exposure to PLC, control logic, or industrial sensors.
• Experience with API integration testing or software QA.
• Knowledge of Chinese is a plus for collaboration with global teams.
