Project B serves a major nutritional supplements provider operating across both B2B distribution and online direct-to-consumer channels. To increase picking efficiency, accuracy, and throughput, the customer adopted a mixed-zone AMR automation design that required tight system integration and carefully managed commissioning. PB RoboTech was selected as the lead implementation and commissioning partner for the entire automated solution.
The site includes two fully automated picking zones. In the ambient tote-storage area, the system utilizes 130 Geek+ P40 robots working alongside 50 RS11 robotic shuttles to support high-density goods-to-person operations. The chilled zone is managed by two P800 robots handling rack-based inventory movements inside temperature-controlled storage. This hybrid configuration required seamless orchestration across multiple robot types, temperature environments, and product workflows.
PB RoboTech’s system engineering team executed a disciplined, end-to-end delivery approach that began with internal testing and progressed through API integration testing with the customer’s HighJump WMS. The implementation followed a structured sequence of SIT, Train-the-Trainer sessions, UAT, go-live preparation, and onsite hypercare support. Throughout every phase, PB maintained daily reporting and transparent communication with the client’s project management team, onsite engineers, and senior system consultants to ensure that all technical and operational issues were identified early and resolved quickly.
The project achieved a smooth, coordinated go-live across both the ambient and chilled AMR zones. From day one, the system delivered stable picking performance, enabling the customer to operate with significantly higher throughput, stronger reliability, and greater confidence in their automated operations. PB’s combination of structured methodology, close stakeholder alignment, and hands-on technical execution ensured that the hybrid AMR solution was deployed accurately, safely, and efficiently.
